"If your gunna stand in my way again don't bother," Maya said sharply towards Seb who was outside May's room. This time he moved,"Wise decision!" She hurried past him, he was actually way taller than her but she didn't care.
Jake laughed at Josh,"Good performance," He muttered.
"What did i miss?" Maya asked.
"Where were you?"
"Pinning someone else to the ceiling...God it actually worked this time." Maya smiled, looking around the hall for Mollie.
"Your weird!" Jake announced to Maya.

Alex sighed before sitting down on the bed beside her.
"This is all my fault..." he muttered and he ran his fingers through his hair in frustration. If only his dad were here to help. But he was gone now. He felt his eyes watering but he refused to cry. No. Not now.

Josh turned to Saphira and asked her a question that had been burning in his mind ever since he had entered the girls bathroom.
"What was wrong with Sophie?"
"I... I can't tell you. I'm sorry..." she choked and he nodded. He understood.

Kyra decided to see if Sophie was okay but as she approached she heard Sophie yell and realised she wasnt alone. She didnt stay around to listen is, there was always later to talk to her freind. Right now Sophie had things to sort.

"Oh, no no no, it's not your fault! It's both of our faults." Sophie sat up and put her head on Alex's shoulder and blindly reached up to stroke his hair. She sighed, hoping everyone might forget.
"I hope they do forget" She looked down at her dress. Poor baby, squished in there.

Alex rocked Sophie slightly like she was a baby her self and nuzzled her hair.
"How about we run you a bath? It'll be relaxing."

Lexy pulled Danny into a hug and sighed. All the nights action had made her tired. Damn all this roleplaying was full of sighing she thought.

She looked for some pyjamas to put on afterwards and dumped them on the floor near the bath. She was probably going to spend new year asleep.

It was nearing 11pm and the dancing and drama had calmed a little, people were mainly eating, sitting and talking. There were a few slow songs playing and couples dancing to them but not much. Danny and Lexy were one of the couples.

Lexy and Danny stopped dancing and turned to one another smiling. Lexy felt it was time and they leaned in to kiss.
"WEDGIE!" screamed a first year, running past and giving Danny a wedgie. Damn their moment was spoiled by one of thsoe first years.

Lexy felt like crying.

Danny felt a little fury when the first year wedgied him, that kid was defiantly going to get some messed up dreams that night.

He shuffled around a bit until his pants were back to their normal position and rolled his eyes.
"Stupid kids." He joked. He took Lexy's hand and walked over to a quieter corner with her and leaned in to kiss, hoping it would go better the second time.

"Get a room eww!" Tom moaned like a little kid winking at them, he walked away holding Catherine's hand. They danced some more...
"God you such a slave driver! Do you ever stop dancing!" Tom whined.
"Hello little children..." Jake said sounding like a pedo.
"What the hell is wrong with you?" Catherine asked.
"He's mentally disturbed!" Maya said quickly dragging him away,"Don't scare them, they look sweet together..."
"Yer..." Jake agreed with a big grin on his face, Maya leaned her head on him and they continued to dance slowly.

Kyra was almost falling asleep now, she was really tired but couldnt go back to her room yet. She rolled her eyes as a person she didnt want to see approached.
"Hey Kyra is it true your little slut freind is pregnant"
"She's not a slut and no it isnt" answered Kyra through gritted teeth and clenched fists
"Dont be stupid I was there you know; she ran off crying. Why would she do that?" Hayden continued with a big 'I win' smirk spreading across her face.

It was no use lying to her, she had the information she needed and if she didnt she would get someone to beat it out of people by simply fluttering her eyelashes. If Hayden knew she wouldnt hesitate before 'accidently' blurting it out in classes and dragging police and staff into the matter.
"£20 to keep quiet" Kyra asked menacingly.
"40"
"30"
"Done" Hayden smiled

Josh walked through the crowds and heard a few mutters about 'Sophie' and 'baby making man batter'.
"What the hell!?" he cried and turned to them. "There's more chance of me being gay then Sophia being pregnant!" he screamed and a few of them sniggered.
"You're gay?"
"Shut up you homophobes!" he screamed.
"He's not gay, he's bi." butted in Saphira with a smile.
"WHO'S SIDE ARE YOU ON!?" He cried and she grinned at him.
"The side that says you're gay of course."
"You said I was bi..."

Maya lay on her bed sobbing into her pillow, just as there was a knock on the door. She sat up, wiped her face and said;
"Who is it?" and a voice came back;
"It's Seb, let me in?" She got up and walked to the door, dried her eyes, wiped her nose and let him in.
"Hello." She said. Before she could say any more, he brought his arms around her and held her in a tight embrace. Her chest heaved against his and she burst into tears, again.
"It's okay May, I promise it will all work out. No matter what I'm here for you, I'm always your friend."
'Friend' thought May, 'Not any more. It's so good to not to have to think about that, I need a friend.' She knew she was partly lying about that, but she couldn't face up to her feelings. He let go of her and shut the door, then sat down on the bed. It was around 11pm but time seemed to have gone so quickly.
"Maya's pretty upset, you know. She really doesn't understand why you left, and for that matter why you couldn't take her as well. How on earth do we explain it to her?" Suddenly May got up and screamed at him;
"WHY CAN'T YOU STOP THINKING ABOUT BLOODY MAYA AND THINK OF ME FOR ONCE! I ALWAYS KNEW YOU HAD A CRUSH ON HER, BUT YOUR MY FRIEND TOO AND WE BARELY JUST GOT BACK!" Seb sat looking stunned.
"I..I never..."
"IT'S NO USE LYING TO ME, I'M A GIRL AND I SEE THESE THINGS! JUST...JUST LEAVE ME ALONE!" she screamed, whilst opening the door and throwing him out. She slammed the door in his face and sank to the floor. Seb did the same, on the other side, and they sat back to back with the door in-between them.
'Surely not...' Seb thought. He had to admit he'd never had feelings like this before, he'd hardly been able to recognise friendship let alone anything else, but not Maya? 'I feel very strongly for both of them, I can't even tell I even like one of them, let alone which one it is. Perhaps I don't like either of them..or maybe because Maya is taken I'm hiding my...no. I can't think like this.' He changed his thoughts to May instead, but it was so hard. So for a while he just sat, thinking and listening for any movement on the other side of the door.

"You better never mention that again" Kyra snarled
"Mention what?"
"Cheer up Kyra...hmm you should really do something about your hair, grow it maybe and whos funeral are you going to? black is so last season" Hayden jeered in a sympathetic tone as she circled her like a vulture circles its prey.
"Whats this, I do actually like this" she added gesturing towards the dragonfly necklace Tyler had bought her. Kyra's hand shot up to cover it protectivly as if Hayden would rip it right from her neck.
"Oh, no need to be so touchy...well at least your not a complete lost cause" Hayden smiled and looked at her thoughtfully before casually walking away.

Katia came up beside Carter, and she had another handfull of marshmellows
''do you do anything besides eat?'' Katia asked in disgust
''yes'' Carter started ''i sleep too''
Katia laughed
''i might go back to my room, most interesting people have left and because of me and everyone else you've hardly spent anytime with your date, soooo have a nice time, cya tomorrow or today depending on whatever time it is'' and she started walking out of the hall
''Cya Kat'' Carter turned to Matt ''Marshmellow?''

Katia was just about to go into her room when she saw a boy sitting outside the room a few doors down, she recognized him from before..
''oh great'' she said to him ''the emo's back, is the prep here too then?''

Seb saw Katia walking downthe hallway and he smiled, recognising a familiar face. She noticed him and said;
"Oh great, the emo's back, is the prep with you then?" and his smile vanished.
"Ha, real funny. You sure picked a great time. She's not a prep just because she manages to be happy than you are, but that's not a hard feat is it now? Still, it's good to see a 'not so friendly' face, one that actually talks to me anyway. In case you haven't noticed, I'm a bit busy, but I'm sure May would really like to talk to you some time soon, and I mean it. Nice to see you again." he heard something behind the door and gestured to Katia to be quiet, he could hear May stirring. It sounded like she had got up and was running a bath.
"Oh jsut great, I'll have to wait ages now. Still, I'm not going until she lets me in again."

''wow you're determined'' she yawned ''anyway im out of cynical quips for the night, have a good time camping, oh and just to let you know there have been studies that have proven that women can stay mad for up to 7 years, maybe even more, so basically you could be there a while good luck though, your going to need it, good night emo boy'' she let out a small giggle then walked into her room, got changed and fell asleep.

Carter had managed to put down the marshmellows for a dance for one of the first times in the night, the dance would be over soon and she wanted to remember it for more then the buffet table.

Kyra needed sleep but she didnt want to interupt anything by going back to her dorm. Soon she would have to pin her eyes open.
"Thats it" she growled to herself and marched out of the hall and into the boys dorm block.
She banged on the door hard. A moment later Seth answered only to be pushed aside and have Kyra flop face forward onto the bed.
Within seconds she lifted her head gasping for air and wheased "Your stuff stinks!"
"Erm...thats not mine I have the bottom bunk" she blinked before shrugging, walking back into the main room and removing her girly body spray. She soaked his bed and leaned forward to smell cautiously.
"There much better" she smiled, "Oh by the way, you try anything and I will lodge my foot so far up your..."
"Im going back to the hall now" said Seth in a panicked tone knowing she likely wasnt joking as he escaped the dorm.

Saphira bit her lip and chewed her nails, deep in thought. Josh had turned to her and look concerned because she looked worried.
"I should check on them or something..." she muttered even though she didn't want to interrupt anything.

Something else was bothering her too. She hadn't heard from Ruby since Christmas and she was worried about her. She turned to Josh and spoke.
"Look... I want to talk to my sister... I'll be back soon ok?" he nodded and pecked her on the cheek as she walked off.

Alex sat on Saphira's bed and chewed his nails. He listened to the occasional splash and he was deep in thought. He nearly jumped out of his skin when he heard a timid knock on the door. He got up and opened it to see a shy looking Saphira looking worried.
"Are you both ok?" she asked in a voice that was almost a squeak. He pitied her for a moment and nodded silently. She smiled at him and he smiled weakly back. "Well... I was just passing... I'm going to see Ruby." she said quietly and he nodded again. She'd probably be asleep though. Should he tell her? No... That would be cruel.

Ruby was in fact breathing deeply through her mouth when somebody knocked on the door. She opened it angriliy and Saphira stood in front of her trembling.
"Um... You have two ta-"
"I KNOW!" she screamed, probably waking up anybody who was asleep and she slammed the door.

Maya left her room and sighed, Seb was in her way again...
"Do i really have to tell you to move again?" She demanded pinning him to the ceiling then picking the lock with a hairclip.
Why do i even care about making ammends...

"How did you get in?" May demanded.
"Forget it i can't do this..." Maya turned around and attempted to leave the room, as soon as she was in the corridor Mollie came from around the corner,"Maybe i can," She rushed back in slamming the door.
"What do you want to do appologise?"
"No Mayleen," She said sharply, deliberately not using her nickname.
Maya ripped a piece of paper out of her sketchbook and made it real, an exact copy of the dress.
"Why are here?" Mayleen stuttered.
"Well i was going to speak my mind but..."
"So your trying to say sorry?"
"Oh so i have to appologise now do i?" She began," At least i'm not getting my boyfriend to stick up for me. Well something he said interested me... You need a friend, maybe i could've used a friend too..."

"If you need a friend, then forgive me. Thank-you for the dress. Firstly Seb is not my boyfriend and secondly I didn't ask him to sit outside my room like a stalker, it's not my fault he's had a deranged childhood and is over-protective." Then May noticed that Seb was standing in the doorway, listening to every word. He stared at her, hurt, then walked calmly but quickly down the corridor. May didn't take her eyes off him until he was out of sight, Maya noticed how sad she looked.
"Oh now look! I just lost my only friend, what is he won't fogvie like you won't? People make mistakes, I wish you would all learn to forgive. Then again this isn't my first mistake, I make lots and lots..." She sat looking deep in thought waiting for Maya to have another go at her.
"If you can't be my friend I ask yu as an ex-friend to treat me with the respect of a human being. Right now I just really don't know what to do..."

Seb got outside and stood feeling the wind ripple through his hair. 'How could she be so inconsiderate? There is something up with May today...there's something it with almost everyone, especially the croud that gathered in the toilets today.' It was not a good new year for him. He saw a glass bottle in the floor and without thinking he smashed it and grabbed a piece. It didn't help much, but he could convince himself it did. Slowly, he cut himself and sat on the steps crying.

"Yer well there's mistakes... and mistakes, for your information my life is hell at the moment and if you really wanted to be my friend you would have noticed i was uppset and hurt, but did you?" Maya began, then took a deep breath,"Look i understand you don't care..."
Maya turned on her heel, on an adrenaline rush she headed for Mollie and Hayden wondering if Mayleen would follow.
"What the hell is wrong with you?!"
"Like you care!" Maya snapped.

May's stress level was well over 100%. She took a deep breath, closed her eyes, and screamed. She screamed so loud people turned to watch and cover their ears, it her her throat, her head, her whole body but she would not stop. She couldn't see anything, but the scream blocked out her thoughts and that was good. When she ran out of breath she felt so tired and hot, and dizzy.
May collapsed in a heap. Hopefully, it was all over for her tonight because this excitement and fuss was causing too much of a stir in some people, way too much.

Seb heard a scream from inside the building. He ran inside to see who it was, and he saw May screaming. Then May stopped screaming and collapsed. He ran over to her ad rested her head on his lap. He just hoped she would be out till the morning, because her mind and body would not take any more. He couldn't see what Maya was donig, but he didn't really care. As far as he could see; they were all making a fuss over a little surprise, they just needed to calm down and be friends again. If only those to gossip queens would stop making a big deal out of it.

Now or never... She thought striding towards Mollie.
"You lot better leave me alone in the future ok? You know what nothing you do can hurt me anymore ok? Your worthless! And don't go beating me up just 'cause i dumped Seth, i had my reasons. He's not depressed, he's been chasing after Kyra for ages," Maya screamed.
Mollie slapped her, hard. Maya hit her back twice as hard,"Oh yeah, did i mention i'm gunna start standing up for myself, come near me again and meet the ceiling!"
Maya ran out of the hall as fast as she could, Mollie was close behind.
"You think your so clever don't you Winter!" She yelled once Maya had stopped in the corridor, Mollie got closer and closer and Maya stood there frozen, ignoring everything else that was happening, May was still on the floor. Mollie kicked Maya inthe stomach.
"Didn't yo hear what i said! Stay away from me," Maya raised her hand to her,"Meet the ceiling she said pinning her there."
Mollie didn't stay long, Maya was weak.
"STAY AWAY FROM ME!" She screamed,"You think Seth will instantly love you for this!" She clutched her stomach.

Seb watched as Maya confronted a girl who, he guessed afterwards, had been bullying her. He was all ready to let go of May and help Maya, but he was reluctant as he knew what it was like. Some battles you had to fight yourself. She got slapped, and her sheek turned red, but she hit the girl back jsut as hard and more.
'Like me when I was n the carehome. Maya is a fighter and so is May.' he thought about this sentence. 'May likes her gossip, but she would never go too far...unless by accident. They both care about others but know when enough is enough. They are fighers; we all are and somehow we'll sort it out." he watched the fight progress; Maya ran away but came back a minute later and slammed the girl, like she had Seb, into the ceiling. It must have HURT. Seb would know. A few words were said, but what WASN'T said was more important. There were no threats from the girl, yet, Maya certainly wasn't backing out. Seb was proud f her in a strange was, and that day he looked up at her with respect. And the whole time May lay on him, totally unconscious.

"Hayden is soo gunna hear about this!" Mollie jeered.
"Not willing to fight you own battles then, your just a sidekick," Maya announced.
"Your gunna pay for that!"
"Am I? Give it your best shot!" Somehow this reminded Maya of a song, which was kind of somforting considering the situation she was in,"I'm soo gunna pay for this later..."
"Correct!" Mollie put her hands together and aimed a bolt of lightning at her.
"I should've thought this through," She muttered," I'm behaving soo much like Emma would, i usually think and plan things first."
Maya lifted a nearby potted plant and aimed it towards her,"What the hell am I doing?" She looked at her hands..."Look leave me alone in the future ok because next time i may carry on, yeah you can go crying to Hayden now..."
Maya turned around and ran back into her room sobbing.
