We know were always pretending
The hope isn’t there
Waiting for a future
That we’ll never share
How long will we pretend
That things are alright
Reality haunts me
I can’t sleep at night
This crazy game
Has spiralled out of control
But I cant live without you
Because you took my soul
And we both ask ourselves
Why we continue to stay
Wishing the memories
Would just go away
There’s nothing left when you
Are dying inside
Countless the times
That you have secretly cried
Soon there’ll be nothing
Left of you or me
So we’ve got to face
The truth we’ve got to break free
You’re stronger without me
I know you want me to go
But I still love you
And I need you to know

Roleplayin
The keyboard solid under my fingers
The mouse ready for me to unleash my fury
I take a deep breath…
And press power
I’ve missed so much
They’ve posted tons without me
Clicking, typing, like a pack of wild animals
Yet I’m left behind in the dark
The website is fresh in my memory
The address bar inviting, it’s sweet voice calling my in
The curse is whispered, and I’m addicted again
I really need to get a life…

Cool refreshing blue fills my vision
Anticipation surges through my blood
It flows through my veins
The portal is alive with information
A new virus lurking, ready to kill my computer
All it takes is the click of a button
I look but I don’t really see, truth is I don’t care
The light reflects off my glasses
The website is alive, waiting for me…
Beckoning me…
