Silverdale Boarding School For The Gifted DO NOT REPLY

"On second thought lets go find your mask first!" Maya said she wanted to surprise her later.
"Ok!" Jake agreed.
I'm sure she's is here to come to school because she was with her dad and they were in the area around the school. Thought Maya.
"Right what shop should we go to?" Asked Maya.
"Erm i'm stuck for money the £1 shop maybe?" Said Jake but Maya knew he was joking.
"Right i think there is a fancy dress shop... that way!" Said Maya pointing in a random direction. Though she had no idea where she was going.

Kyra walked around with the others ignoring Tyler, it was hard but she managed. She wasnt mad but for some reason she thought that he deserved it. She yawned. She hadnt bought anything yet but she had been into the jewellery and textiles store with her plans, it was going to cost a bit but she didnt really care.

"Right and you're sure you want this mask?" She said trying to sound like his parent.
"You sound like my mother," The word mother stabbed him in the heart. He could barely remember his mother they put him in the childrens home when he was very young.
Maya saw his expression,"Are you OK."
"Yeah, fine," He said very unconvincingly.
Maya dismissed it she could tell he didn't want to talk about whatever was bothering him.
"Right milkshakes on me," Said Maya as she hadn't bought anything in town yet.

The guys headed over to thr milkshake shop to finsih the trip. Everyone ordered somethign except Kyra. Maya and the rest of her freinds were in there so they all sat together in a large group and talked.

Seth had bought a haloween costume, it had been a hard choice but he had found a suitable one eventually. He sat next to Maya and listened to what the others had to say.

Maya looked around the room Emma had gone.
She's probably gone to the school to get her room sorted. She'll be with Carter and Serra. Thought Maya as far as she knew no one else was in that room.
Maya and Kyra were looking at what eachother had on their ipods.
Jake was searching through his own trying to find something to listen to.

Kyra exaimed the song list on Maya's ipod. It was pretty good, she occsaionally put an earphonhe into her ear to sample some music ignoring the conversation around her.

Tyler sat swallowing his drink fast. He wanted to smoke but he had already told himself that he was going to quit. It was for his own good and others around him. His mind told him to go find a shop and buy some but his body refused. He was developing a slight twitch but was determined to ignore it.

Seth was talking about the night before. When Carter had stood yelling outside the door. He had finished his milkshake and turned to Tyler.
"You dont look so good" he smirked
"Im fine...thankyou" replied Tyler in a competitive way. It was clear that they didnt like each other.

Maya liked Kyra's playlist a lot. They pretty much had the same taste in music. Maya sampled a long song she had never heard before and liked it a lot.
As soon as i get back i'm downloading this. Thought Maya.
"Wouldn't it be cool if Wreck55 had a concert around here!" Said Maya noticing that she had Wreck55 songs on hers too.

"Yeah it would be" answere Kyra as she put her favorite wreck55 song on. "Hey you have cobalt blue aswell" said Kyra shocked. She never knew that their taste in music was so similar.

Tyler was tempted to get up and leave, he wished that he hadnt gave smoky Joe the packet but that couldn't be helped now. He ordered another milkshake and devoured it almost instantly. It was the perfect temporary substitute.

Katia and Carter were still standing outside the milkshake store and then a group of people from their school went in and sat down talking, Carter giggled to herself and started making faces at them pushing her face against the shop window.
Katia nearly choked on her milkshake she was laughing so hard,
''Thy are SO going to get you for this at school'' She said still laughing
''Like i care'' Carter said continueing to pull faces at them.

Kyra glanced at Carter making funny faces on the window and laughed as she turned up the volume of Maya's ipod. She glanced at Tyler who didnt seem to be having a good time. She couldn't hold the silence any longer.
"Tyler are you okay?" she asked in a concerned tone
"Yeah, great" he replied but it was so obvious that it wasnt. He needed to get out of there. "You know what its getting pretty late so ill be heading back anyone else is welcome to come" she said shooting a glance in Tyler's direction. He produced a fake yawn and got up. The pair of them sat at the bus stop waiting.

''awwww their leaving, thats no fun'' said Carter in an annoyed little kid voice ''Hey, i dare ya to pour the rest of my milkshake over seths head''
''Normally i would want to do that anyway'' Katia said ''Anyway, don't you like your milkshake?''
''i like it, im just still feeling woozy from last night, And if your not gonna pour it over his head i will'' Carter said getting up,
''Your acting more drunk than woozy'' Said Katia grabbing Carters wrist
''Hey, whats up with your hand?''
''I caught it on something''
Carter fiddled with her nose ring which had a tiny bit of blood on it and gave Katia a suspecting look, as if to say 'i don't beleive you'
''YOU punched me!'' exclaimed Carter ''i thought you were my friend!'' she said pouring the rest of her milkshake over KATIAs head and then storming off.
'great job Katia' thought Katia
She ran back into the milkshake shop and into its toilets and washed her hair in the sink and started drying it under the hand dryer

Kyra sat next to Tyler on the scruffy public bus carefully avoidint the countless pieces of gum that were stuck all over. Kyra couldn''t stand the silence any longer.
"Tyler just tell me whats wrong" she begged but he still refused. She leaned across him to see where they were, there was still quite a journey left. She stopped and took a deep sniff. She smelt something familiar that she hadn't noticed before. It was like the smell at Joe's but more compacted and strong.

"You've been smoking" she stated as she glanced at him in a concerned way. All that she recieved was a shrug. "You know that you can get stuff to help you quit now right?" she replied. He shrugged again and with a sigh she gave up.

Saphira frowned as Kyra left. Looks like she was going to be going back on her own. She drained the last few drops of the milkshake she had, gathered the few shopping bags she was carrying and got up.
"I'll see you guys later." she said before turning around and heading out of the door. She scanned the street in the hope that their would be somebody she knew.

She spotted Josh out of the corner of her eye who was carrying a box and heading towards the bus stop.
"JOSH! HEY JOSH! WAIT FOR ME!" she screamed across the street and went streaking after him. He paused and they waited for the next bus together.

Alex went into his third shop and continued to search for what he was looking for. It was hard and he knew it would be. The shop smelt of incense and was dim. A strange lady stood at the till and watched him through curious eyes. He was about to give in when he saw something near the back of the dusty shop. He went over to it before taking it to the tills. Perfect.

Carter was standing at the bus stop with an annoyed look on her face, and hold ing her sore jaw, some people from the group at the milkshake shop was there but she wasn't in the mood to join any conversation.
'i guess Katia was right' she thought ' If you make friends you just end up hurting them'


Katia started walking round town, all the milkshake out of her hair and started looking in the costume shops, she didn't see much that she liked but she saw tons of things Carter would like.
She bought a few items, an costume for her, and an outfit for carter.

Maya turned from the conversation and glanced at Carter the friend she had made last night.
I wonder what happened she looks kind of depressed, Thought Maya, She's all alone maybe i should go and talk to her.
"So how is your new guitar?" Asked Maya, "I hope it works properly though i probably messed it up like everything else."

''its fine'' she said on the verge of crying ''i havn't really been playing it though'' she said fiddleing with her nose ring.
now sometimes when she talked her jaw clicked,
'Maybe i should get it checked by the nurse'

"Look I know it's just that i'd rather do it without"
Kyra could see through what he had just said afte a short pause she said "Getting help isn't a sign of weakness Tyler".

the rest of the bus journey was quiet. When they rrived at school Tyler went inside but Kyra walked straight past the school and to the corner shop nearby. Thanks she said as the shop keeper handed her the change. Outside it was freezing, she tightened her scarf around her neck and buried her face in it for the walk back to school.

Maya stepped off the bus and headed straight for the girls dormitory.
She stood outside room 103 and knocked.
"Hello.... Maya!" Emma shouted and rushed over to hug her friend.
"Hi Emma!"
Maya broke away and smiled at her happy that they had been re-united.

Sophie laid on her bed and sighed, she didn't want to go to town with the others, so she just sat and drew her outfit. She had what she thought would be the most original idea ever.

Claire and Serra were both going shopping for their non-halloween party outfits, they were'nt going in costume, but they were going to wear the same thing and go as twins, how creative of them.
"This outfit looks cute." Serra picked out a dress which looked like a top and skirt sewn together.
"How about this one?" Claire picked up a pink top and some light wash jeans.
"I love it!" Serra squeaked

Danny was still laid in his bed, he didn't dare get up after last night. he heard someone being hit, then silence, but he still didn't want to take the risk of getting up.

Maya and Emma sat in the cafeteria catching up on what they had been doing since they last met.
"My mum's been making me switch schools every month to find the right one. The last option was this one and trust me she's been trying to avoid it!" Said Emma.

Jake sat in his room emailing one of his friends back home, he hadn't made many because lots of people had picked on him for living at a childrens home.

Kyra sighed as she dumped the shopping bag on Tyler's bed and walked away to meet eveyone. Minutes later Tyler walked in and opened the bag. Inside was a fortunes worth of anti-smoking patches, gum and a range of other things. He knew who had left them and she was obviously very determined to help him. He smiled took a piece of gum and shoved the rest into his wardrobe.

Seth was bored. School had been boring and something interesting needed to happen soon or his head would explode.

Saphira went up to her room and Josh followed. Together they finished off the last of the brownies and discussed what they were wearing at the halloween party.

Alex sat on the bus and stared out the window. Not long until he could get off and head back up to the school. He wondered what Sophie was up to and whether she was the one who had made it rain. He lifted his hand and drew small pictures in the steam.

Carter stepped of the bus and headed towards the school, through the gates and into her room.
She then sat down on her bed and stared into space for a few moments and then picked up her pillow and screamed into it.

Katia Was waiting at the bus stop thinking over what she was going to say to Carter, even though she didn't want any friends, one couldn't hurt. Could it?

The bus slowed to his stop and Alex stepped out into the pouring rain. He walked quickly towards the school. It was cold and the rain dripped down his neck. He began to run as more and more cascaded down onto him.

He got to the school gates and began to look for Sophie. He decided that his best bet would be to check the girls dorms in case she was in her room.

"Anyway want to come and meet some of my friends?" Asked Maya.
"Sure," Replied Emma.
Who should i get her to meet first Thought Maya. Erm.. Seth! He's conviently on the table next to us!
"Hi Seth this is my friend Emma she just joined the school!" Maya said cheerfully.
