Silverdale Boarding School For The Gifted DO NOT REPLY

Saphira sighed and looked at her watch. She had a feeling Tyler knew she was outside and didn't WANT to be healed. Well if he wanted to go around looking sore and wounded he could. She got up and slowly headed back to the school.

"Well what is it?" Kyra demanded her voice becoming more loud and angry by the minute.

Tyler saw Joe casually walk down the stairs. "Joe im staying for a bit okay?" he said not really as a question.
"Sorry kid, Cindy is staying in your room at the minute no can do" said Joe as he coughed on his cigarette refering to the blonde watching the TV.
This could be a problem, he nodded and walked out of the house into the street. He needed to find some place to stay. Jamie had no room either which meant he would be sleeping in the public toilets tonight. Great.

Maya looked Seth in the eye not sure about what had just happened.
"OK, but any more fighting and we are through, THE END!" Maya said after a few minutes.
Maya hugged him to show that she wasn't that mad at him, she turned around to check for inspectors and soaked up the water in a nearby puddle and aimed it straight for his face.
"Eww! Maya's got a boyfriend, Maya's got a boyfriend." Tom sang in a chorus circling Maya.
Great mum probably saw it all too, Thought Maya.
"You're right!" Maya's mum popped out of nowhere.
How could i forget, telepathic and invisible.
"Erm... hi," Maya Said

As Saphira got to school she saw Kyra and a few others.
"You coward." she spat at Seth in disgust. "You want to know what happened Kyra? Seth decided to pick on Tyler. He now looks like he went through a mince machine."
"Tyler went through a mince machine?!" squawked a nearby lower school.

Katia and carter got a salad from the canteen (after rebandaging Katias hand) and shared it
''Well this has been an eventful day'' Katia said trying to pick lettuce up with her plastic fork
''And you loved every second of it'' Carter said
Katia smiled, finally getting the lettuce to stay on her fork and putting it in her mouth.

Tyler found himself wondering aimlessly round a corner shop not buying anything in particular. Every single one of the customers gave him funny looks. The manager came over to him "Kid your scaring the customers get outa my shop" he said as he picked up a broom. Tyler sighed, he wasnt strong enough to fight so he left.

Kyra stared in disbelief at what she had just heard, the glanced from Seth to Saphira and back to Seth before she fell to the floor unconsious.

Marine rushed over, this time she wouldnt be giving mouth to mouth, luckily Kyra hadnt hit her head, she had only fainted. "Nice going...you know break it to her gently" Marine said to Saphira in an angry yet calm tone.

Seth turned bright red. How loign had they been there...had they seen them kissing. Of course he didnt realise that Maya's mother was telepathic. "I did not pick on Tyler, he is just as strong as me and he chose to be stupid, he chose to become like that" he retaliated trying not to attract much attention.

Saphira grinned feebly and knelt down beside Kyra.
"Well she was knocked over easily..." muttered Saphira. She tapped her on the face. "It's not like they killed each other."

Did i really make the right decision forgiving him? Thought Maya, And yes mum thankyou for reading my thoughts.
"Right i'm just going to sign Tom in." Said Andrea Winter.
"What!?!" Cried Maya.
"But that's not--- " She was suddenly cut short and she couldn't talk no matter how much she tried.
"TOM!" Said Mrs Winter dragging him away,"It'll wear off in about 30-40 seconds."
But.. Maya thought hoping her mother was reading her mind for once.

Emma watched the scene play out one minute Saphira was talking, the next Kyra was lying on the floor.

Jake was busy trying to teleport from one end of the room to the other.
It's the only place i can practice because there aren't any inspectors. Thought Jake.

Kyra slowly became aware of the itchy sheets around her, this was not her room or even a familiar room to her. The smeel screamed HOSPITAL loudly. "Wheres Tyler!" she yelled as she sat up. She wasnt in a hospital, she was infact in the nurses office, she left the hospital like room and headed back outside.
To her surprise everyone was still stood arguing in the same place.

"Wheres Tyler now?" she asked as she approached them, the arguing stopped leaving a raher chilling atmosphere. Silence.

Marine actually had no idea how to answer this question so again she stood in silence.

Seth hoped that he was forgiven and had now learnt that Maya's brother would be coming to the school. Maybe this would be a good excuse to get closer to her.

Emma was standing watching people argue.
This is entertaining. Thought Emma.

"Right now would you like a tour of th school Mrs Winter, i don't believe you've had one." Asked the principle.
"One more thing," The principle adressed Mrs Winter and Tom," We are under inspection at the minute so we are keeping power use to an absolute minimum."
The principle lead the two of them out of her office.

Jake so far had managed to get from one end of the room to:
The wardrobe
The bed
The same end of the room and..
The top bunk which ended up in him falling and bruising himself.

Marine found a couple of words that might answer the question. "Kyra...nobody knows, he ran of" she stated. Kyra bit her bottom lip. She still didnt understand why Seth was scratchless unless Saphira had helped but that could wait.

Seth didnt feel guilty about it, in his opinion he had done the right thing. He put his arm round Maya's waist as they walked inside the school together.

Tyler would miss the rest of school today and maybe some of tomorrow. It had now started to rain and he was getting soaked.

TOM...SCHOOL...TOM...SCHOOL I ATTEND... HE IS GOING TO MAKE MY LIFE A MISERY. Thought Maya, I just hope mum's not in the area. One question how did they get here so fast.
'That would be telling.'
Maya slapped her head.

Jake left the school grounds he was getting bored and didn't want to get involved with the arguement. As Jake walked past the arguing crowd Emma came to join him looking pretty bored too.
"The fight was dramatic this morning now it's just getting old." Said Emma.

People gradually disapeared from the crowd to get food and right now Kyra was starving. She bought a plate of spagetti and sat twirlind her fork in it. She was hungry but didnt feel like eating. How could this happen again!

"MUM! Look at the big water fountain." Cried Tom.
The principle smiled,"I've seen your sister around there lots of times she seems to like the bench by the fountain."
Mrs Winter smiled.
"EWW Maya germs," Said Tom.
'I had enough of this on the way here,' Mrs Winter said directing her thoughts at Tom.

Marine sat near Kyra who looked depressed, "Cheer up im sure he'll be back soon" said Marine in a desperate attempt to cheer Kyra up however as she expected it didnt work. She looked up and smiled but anyone with more than a single braincell could see that the smile was not what she was feeling.
"Why did Seth get out without a scratch?" she asked, Marine felt bad because she couldnt answer any of these questions that Kyra was so desperate to know.
"How bad was it?" she asked ignoring her previous question. This question Marien could answer but she definatly didnt want to.
"Err, not to bad, a couple of scratches" she lied knowing full well that Tyler had emerged like a bowl of mushy spag bol that had been viciously attacked by a hammer.

Maya ran over to join her mother who she hadn't seen for about 2 months.
"So why does Tom have to come here?" Maya asked casually," The same reason he brought you two here, to learn how to control himself."
Tom meanwhile was staring at another lower schooler.
"Sight," He muttered staring at the boy who suddenly lost his sense of sight and walked staight into a bin.
"Hearing," Maya mimicked him and covered his ears.

Maya is lucky to have a family that understands her thought Seth. He had been silent for most of the conversation Maya had with her mum and brother not wanting to embaress himself.

Kyra shoved the neglected bowl of spagetti aside and Marine held a laugh as she thought of how well it resembled Tyler now that it had been turned, squished and splattered. She told herself that this was no laughing matter. "Im heading back to the dorm" said Kyra, Marine new not to follow, Kyra obviously needed some alone time.

'Her dad finds it hard to understand you know, for a few years he made thier lives a misery' Contacted Mrs Winter through her thoughts.
She smiled at her two happy children.
This isn't going to last long. She thought.

Emma and Jake stared at Maya playing happy families. Emma had liked Maya's mum the first time she had met her, just not her dad. She could tell that he had labled Maya 'Freak.'

Sophie spent most of lunch with Alex, she didn't seem to leave his side. She knew it seemed clingy, but everyone else was either following the cute boys, or with their boyfriends. She looked over at another table and spotted Danny, he was with a girl. Now that Sophie thought about it, he'd been with the girl all day.
"Looks like Danny's doing well for himself. I bet that's his girlfriend." Sophie joked and poked her salad.

Danny took a bite out of the cookie Lexy had made, it was the best cookie he'd had since he baked with Sophie that one time. Oh how a simple cookie can bring back good memories Danny thought. He just hoped that She wasn't reading his mind.
He peered over to see Sophie laughing and making 'Kissy faces' At him. Did she seriously think Lexy was his girlfriend?
"Go away!" He mouthed back at Sophie, she laughed more and turned back to Alex.

Serra was sleeping, the bus made a soothing 'Hmmmmmmm' sound.
"Is this ye stop lassie?" It was the same bus driver as before.
"Oh yes, thanks for waking me up!" Serra handed him some money to thank him, and got off the bus.
She stood with her suitcase for a moment, and took in a deep breath of air and realised she was back. Back at the gates of the boarding school. She looked for the big gates but there was a small gathering of people in the way, mumbling something about a mincer. She wanted to butt in, but decided it would be best to leave them be.

Claire spent most of her lunch in her room, she didn't want the inspectors to be here. She wanted Serra to be here. Knock knock Claire got up to answer the door. Nothing.
"Darn knock door runners." Claire was about to slam the door shut before Serra jammed it with her foot.
"What was that? Were you cursing me there twinny?" Serra joked and hugged her Claire.

Kyra let the shower water wash away her tears. The voice in her head kept repeating If your heart was really broken you'd be dead so shut up!. She was determined to listen to the voice but her heart had other plans.

Tyler casually slumped against the glass in a bus stop away from the rain, soon after an old lady hobbled past and dropped her shopping. Tyler rolled his eyes and began to pick it up. She shoved her glasses up her nose and turned to him "Ooh you nasty youth, thief, thief!" she screamed while hitting him with her handbag. He handed the bag back to her and she carried on hobbling past. Could this day get worse.

Saphira headed up to her room wearily. She was tired. She heard somebody in the shower and assumed it was Kyra. Maybe she would feel better if she told her? She sat on her bed and argued in her head.

Alexa watched Sophie messing about at another table and grinned at her. Danny looked slightly pinkish but Lexy just smiled. She was enjoying herself.

Alex sat at his table twiddling his thumbs. Sophie was laughing at her cousin and he joined in before giving Danny a wink and turning back to his cheese sandwich.

Kyra opened the bathroom door and jumped as she realised that Saphira was in the room. Swirls of steam leaked through the door creating pretty patterns in the air as Kyra plugged in the hair dryer.

Tyler was hungry but he had no money with him and he was not going to sit and beg. He would have to stay in the bus stop for a while.

Marine walked past room 101 and felt the mysterious tatoo on her arm burn, obviously someone was taking a shower in there. She had no idea where it came from but it was sooo irritating.

"I know where he is." Saphira said watching Kyra untangle the wires of the hair dryer and looked up to see what would happen next.

Josh sat in the canteen chewing on a ham sandwich. He was grateful for food because the excitement of the day had starved him and each bite of the bread and meat was heaven. He looked around for anybody he knew because he was sat alone.

Kyra paused and placed the hairdryer on the table. "What where who is?" Kyra asked hiding all signs that she cared what happened to him. "Tyler?" Saphira nodded. "Right...where is he?" she asked placing the hairdryer on the table.

"You know Oak Lane? It's three bus rides from here." Saphira mumbled knowing full well that Kyra was pretending to not be interested. "I can take you there if you want."
