Silverdale Boarding School For The Gifted II

"Sir rumour has it this school is haunted" Kyra teased, in reply he pushed his glasses further up his nose.
"Yes well I dont belive in ghosts"
All natural light was blocked out of the room by the drawn curtains as they were in the process of watching a boring history video. Suddenly all lights in the room fizzed and switched off, Kyra smiled in the dark. Using this power now required little effort but was tiring.
"Oh deary me that will be the old care taker" Kyra giggled as the lights flashed back on.
"The...the what?"
"The care taker...didnt they tell you they found his skin in the wardrobe in this very room back when they used to be dorms"
"But...but this school is new"
"That what they tell you, lets face it if they knew the horrific things that go on here nobody would apply for a job"
She saw him shake as a chill ran down his spine and he gulped.

Sophie was holidng herself back from bursting into hysterics.
"Sir, What's that brick for?" Danny asked.
"This? It's my pet Kevin." The teacher chuckled, nobody laughed. They continued to watch the video.
Sophie, Claire, Serra and Danny felt completely useless, they didn't really have powers that would do any harm.
Matt was doing well though. This time he thought he'd continue from Kyra's little story and attempt to blow the plug of the projector up.
"WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT?!" The teacher yelled as the plug burst into flames, making the projector make a little sizzle and switch off.
"Hm, he probably blew the fuses too." Matt said, turning around to Kyra and nodding, hoping she'd continue the story a little.

"It was a ghost!" a first year screamed dramatically. The teacher straightened his tie. "Yes well we're all a little old for ghost stories of dead caretakers in this room"

"Oh that wasnt the caretaker...that was the mad woodcutter. Yeah they say he chopped wood for so long in the rain that he became possesed by it. Before the school was here this used to be a forest, anyway they say you can still hear the drip drip drip of the rain and as he walks looking for more trees. You dont want to run into him though I mean that axe is pretty sharp" Kyra continued, she had loved horror movies since she was 6 years old and knew just how to scare a grown adult.

Everyone seemed to be playing along although it wasnt convincing until someone with hydrokinetic abilities caused a trail of water on the floor leading slowly but surely towards the teachers desk. He squealed. His squeal was an earpiercing screech like a young girls.He jumped up onto his desk where he sat until the dripping stopped.

"Anyway any of you kids like rugby?" The teacher asked in attempt to make friends with the class. A few people raised their hands.
"Just like to say Wales beat you all!" He shouted and suddenly went into hysterical laughter.
"Sir i support Wales!" I boy with a welsh accent piped up completely ruining the teachers fun.
Maya shook her head and turned to sophie,"Is this guy for real?"

"Heh, nobody's really sure..." Sophie laughed. Now she wanted to be in on the spooky story. She was getting to grips with her weather power and felt like shocking him.

There was a huge flash outside as fork lightning hit the ground, just short of a tree. With it, a small shower of rain. This time the lightning seemed to have taken everyone by surprise as everyone gasped at the sight.

We need to go back to basics, since we've done all of the big flashy we're all dommed and gonna die stuff Maya thought, she instantly pulled a horrified face and gawped at the teacher.
"What is it? What's so scary!" The teacher panicked.
"Your face," She simply tried, it was basic but she didn't care.

Tom turned to the geeky lower school boy you was refusing to join in and kept threatening to tell the head, he simply blinded him.

Alex was late. He knew it. He was already in trouble so he decided to go to the whole hog. He went to the wardrobe and looked at his small collection of clothes.
"The purple today I think."

Saphira was sat wondering what she could do to join in. She could summon birds or dogs or something but that would be pretty obvious... Dammit...

Lexy read the teachers thoughts and grinned. So we are the worst class he's ever had eh? Fantastic.

Josh started to slowly make moss grow out of the desk at front. Because it was at a distance is was hard so it wasn't noticeable yet...

Ruby lay on her bed groaning. Stomach ache again. She wasn't going to bother with class. It was just a stupid sub who wouldn't even NOTICE her absence.

Alex strode into the classroom with a grin on his face and the class roared with laughter. Damn he loved these belly dancing skirts.

Maya stared wide eyed at Alex.
"Not again..." She groaned.
While the teacher was distracted Catherine and Tom slowly crawled to the teachers desk and switched every item around, they also replaced all of his boardpens with ones Maya had made earlier though they were filled with things like tomato ketchup. Finaly they replaced his computer mouse with kevin. Catherine froze the teacher breifly and replaced all of the posters in the room with a few other peoples help. They both rushed back to her seats like nothing had happened.

Seb got up early that morning, and this resulted in him being one of the first into class. He took a seat right at the back near the door, and sat with his foot resting on his knee. A few minutes later the room was buzzing with coversation and May walked in, alone again. He wanted to offer her a seat but he didn't feel like socialising today, so he ignored her presence.

May walked into the classroom and looked for a place to sit, she chse a seat near the window with lots of empty seats. That way peple could choose to socialise with her or not. But slowly as pupil after pupil piled in, she realised no one she knew wanted to know her.
"Just fab." She said aloud. Then the teacher walked in, he was a sub she could tell, and by the looks of it had no powers.
"At least this will be fun!" She said to the people around her in general, but they stayed quiet.

This teacher clearly can't cope at all... Maya thought, she got up out of her seat and stood leaning against the board.
"Get back to your seat!" The teacher ordered.
"That was great... so completely powerless," She answered back referring to his order,"Make me!"
"I'll call the headmistress," He got out his cheap phone.
"Er... no you won't!" Jake stood up and leaned against the board too, slowly he managed to completely disconnect his phone.
"Both of you back to your seats!"
"Make us!"

The teacher marched over to Kyra
"You give me that phone now! im sure your not allowed it in class" he demanded and held a hand out towards her, clearly he was mentally pulling his hair out.
She looked him up and down decisivly before spitting her chewing gum into his waiting palm. Furiously he banged his fist down on the desk after shaking the gum away.

LiLing felt strange as two personal body guards on their final trip with her carried her bags and suitcases by her side, she had seen several people raise they're eyebrows at her but continued to stare at the floor as they approached her dorm.
She was never going to fit it, she plucked anxiously at her loose jacket and jeans which she wasnt used to wearing hoping she at least looked the part. Her bodyguards dropped her bags carefully and left her alone in this strange new room.

Maya dived into the cupboard and found a small blue contraption, she blew the dust off and switched it on.
"Sir! Your radioactive!" She shouted as it beeped every so often, she knew it was only background radiation but she was playnig the fool,"Oh god, help me! He's radioactive!"
She picked up the pet brick and made a stay back motion with it.

False panic rose in the class as the teacher ran in never ending circles arms flailing wildly in no particular direction.

Liling sat for a few moment before hauling her bags onto the single bed and unzipping them. Strange garments emmerged, some of which she had no idea which part of your body you were meant to wear it on and put them in the wardrobe. Finally she came to the one familiar suitcase, inside her elegant chinese Kimono's and headdresses which had no place in her new life. They seemed to heavy compared to the clothes she had been wearing for the past day when she lifted them to hang them up at the back of the wardrobe. Finally she removed a hidden delicate pendant in the shape of a blooming lotus with a tiny message bearly readable engraved into the back in tiny characters.

"OUT!" The teacher shouted to no student in particular.
"Yer brick get out," Maya yelled at the 'pet' throwing him outside the classroom," Opps i missed his head!" She announced loudly.
"OUT!"
"Parrot!"
"OUT!"
"No."
"OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
"Calm down..."

Liling wrapped the pendant gently into a silk hankecheif and placed it on the bed.She touched her index fingers together and whispered 'Shokan'
A warm glowing tourquoise light formed between her hands as she summoned seiryu's powers into her hands and gently removed the skirting board behind her bed without making too much noise. She hadnt fully summoned seiryu as it would have caused attention to be drawn to her. Lightly she places the small package in the gap and pushed the board back into place.

"What the hell..." Maya muttered as the teacher seemed to dance as a lower school boy threw pens at him, she was still leaned against the board refusing to move.

Tom ran out of the classroom and came in through the other door so he was directly behind the teacher. Why he did this he had no idea but it seemed fun at the time because he never got to use that door.

Personality(no Mary-sues):He's not too bright and his self esteem is low. He's sweet and kind but also very shy. He hates school because he's never been too good at learning and he prefers to daydream.
Short Bio: After an embarrasing incident in his old school, his parents decided to send him here. He is partially mad at them for sending him away like they didn't care and partially grateful to get away form his old school.

Maya sank into her seat and rested her head on the desk, no sooner had she done so (or she just simply fell asleep) the bell went. Everybody stayed in their seats and cried a sigh of relief as they could ditch the textbooks for one lesson.
"Right...drama," The teacher didn't look as if he enjoyed that subject much with the disgust he said the word with,"Get into groups two boys and two girls."
Maya rushed over to Jake,"Anyone want to go with us two?"

Kyra was bored by the time drama started. She sat with her head on the table as if gravity was increasing on her pulling her towards the ground. She couldnt be bothered with any of this anymore. She hadnt slept in days and the only thing that had been in her head was Tyler. The others had told her to get over him and that he wasnt worth it. She agreed in a non committed way but her heart told her differant.

Without removing her head from the desk she pushed her chair back until she was forced to raise her head to stop it falling and walked towards the door.
"Miss please take a seat"
Kyra paused as her hand was about to open the door and turned around, she looked at him before heading out into the corridor. The cool air was refreshing as she located the school councellers office and took a seat in the waiting room.

Maya stared as various people got into pairs, she looked over at Mayleen. Maya still wasn't exactly sure whether they were friends yet or not. She sighed in dismay as Emma went and joined a different group.
"Maya..." Jake muttered as she dozed off almost hitting her head on the desk.
"I really can't be bothered today, it'll end up being some sort of educational play anyway unless our teacher left an idea, i REALLY hope they did!" Maya rolled her eyes and eventually dragged Jake out of his seat,"Er... would you mind working with us two..." Mayleen and Seb stared.
Maya kicked herself,Why the hell didn't we just go with Tom and Catherine

Seb didn't nkow how he had survived that lesson. Several times he'd felt like gettig up and walking out of class, out of the entire school. He spent most of the hour with he head on his bok, trying not to think about May & Maya because he knew how angry he'd get. Suddenly the bell went and he woke with a start;
"Drama." The teacher announced drearily. Just fab, how Seb loved acting. May did, when they were away the would spend a lot of time pretendng to fight or be upset, even to be in love. Though neither of them took it seriously, it was just a few words and faces pulled at the end of an interesting conversation. Mostly May would start it, but Seb would paly along anyway.
'There I go again!' he thought, he had to put he out of his mind but the rest of the class had already gotton into their groups, just 4 seniors left. May, Seb, Jake & Maya. They stood watching each other, Jake & Maya at the front of the class, Seb right at the back and May somewhere on the row in front. Then Maya walked up to them and said;
"Would you mnid working with us two?" But the automated reply came;
"Were not in a pair." Perfectly in time, it made Seb laugh but Maya just looked shocked. May turned around to look at him laugh through his nose, such an evil mocking sound.
"Why not?" Said May, the face of innocence and cheeriness.
"I really would love to work with you both, and Seb too. I'd really like it." and so it was accepted. They sat down in a line of 4 waiting for their breif.

Carter grabbed Kats arm and dragged her across the room to Matt
''were going together right?'' She asked Matt ''Thats okay with you right Kat?''
''whatever'' Katia wasn't really listening, she was staring at the floor
''okay! now who else shall we go with?'' Carter asked looking round the room for possible group members.

Tom and Catherine looked around for any other lower school kids, they could only see Danny and Alexa whome neither of them knew well at all.
"Er...Alexa is it?" Catherine began.
"Would you mind if we went with you?" Jake finished.

"Right then students, according to my little slip of paper," Suddenly the paper burst into flames,"According to my little slip of paper that did exist once we will be doing plays related to good and evil..."
The class sighed remembering it being on of the plays they had to do during inspections but with less people.

Maya began to try an appology to May.
"Right i don't think you two should work together is your planning to talk..." The teacher said to Maya,"You two go work with the girl with the blue hair and that other boy..."
"Er... would it hurt to learn some names?" Jake asked.
"GO work with them now don't answer back!"
Maya sighed and scooped up all of her things,"Hi Saphira, we got ordered over here, sorry if you planned to work with someone else, i'll go join another group if you have anything against this.


OOC: The only reason this is a long post is because i had to edit because no one posted! SO now i have bored you all!

Saphira smiled at Maya and were grateful to have people willing to work with them. Besides they could get into trouble if they didn't work with each other.
"Right... Good against bad... Anybody got any ideas?" Saphira asked with a warm smile.

Josh stared at the desk and watched the moss seep and come out of the wood. It was harder on this desk than the last one because this one was newer. Staring. Staring. Seeping. Seeping.

Ruby painted her nails on her bed. She should really go to class seeing as she had skipped more schools days than she should of. She still felt ill and didn't want to risk it. Maybe tomorrow.

Lexy smiled at Tom and said she wouldn't mind working with them. She quickly took over by organizing everybody.
"Ok. Who wants to go around cackling evilly and who wants to be nice and friendly?"

Leon walked down corridor after corridor trying to find his new class. He had been warned by the secretary that they had a substitute and he hoped things would turn back to normal soon. He was worried about getting into trouble for missing first period but he had been busy putting things in the wardrobe and making himself at home. He suddenly spotted a classroom with the name he was looking for and slipped in to see chaos.
"Hi, I'm new here and YOUR DESK IS GROWING FUR!"

Sophie chuckled at the new boy. He seemed nice, so he'd made one comment, oh well, he seemed nice!
"Anyway, where were we?" She turned around to Alex, who she'd instantly partnered with. She wasn't leaving him for the full 9 months, whether he liked it or not.
