Maya smiled.
Whatever happens i always have people who care about me. Maya rose from her seat.
"Come on let's go dance with the others," Maya smiled.
She started to walk away then suddenly turned around.
"Jake you coming?" Maya asked.
He nodded and went with them to join the others.

Carter was about to follow Maya when Katia came over
''Hey carter where you going?'' Katia asked ''And wheres your drink?''
''errrrr.....i could'nt deicied what to get''
''Well lets go get something to drink then, i'm dead thirsty''

Maya was feeling more confident now, she was dancing and using some reassuring words to cheer up Jake.

"Maya i'm going to get you!" Tom yelled appearing from nowhere.
He shot at Maya with a water gun.
Maya reacted too quickly she put her hand out and focused on redirecting it into his face.

Tyler smiled as he talked to Marine, why did he have to drink before the party. He thought that it would make the party more fun but now he couldn't focus properly. He nodded dazily as she chatted away.
"Tyler you listening to me?" she asked noticing his distant look
"What yeah of course!" he replied as he contunued to stare.

Kyra felt sorry for Maya, Seth-being Seth hadnt turned up when he was supposed to be meeting her. She knew the feeling and that had happened to her one too many times.

The principal
The principal stepped up on a little platform and took the microphone.
"Attention please, Attention." The music stopped and everyone turned around to listen.
"The judges and i have come to a conclusion. First i will announce the male costume contest winner." She got a little golden envelope and opened it.
"And the winner is...." The DJ played a little drumroll sound effect.
"Alex Goodwill! Come recive your prize Alex!" She scanned the room before pulling out a large bar of derdies milk (OOC: cough cough) and handing it to Alex.
"We were judging on creativity, uniqueness (OOC: New word ) and overall effort." She shook Alex's hand and gave him the microphone to make a little speech.

Seth finally saw Maya across the room and ran up to her.
"MAYA there you are i've been looking for you for ages!" he said as he smiled, she didnt return it.
"Seth...i have something to tell you..." she began with a sigh
Maya had Seth's full attention while the results of the contest were being announced.

"Dance with me" Marine demanded trying to create a more interesting atmosphere
"NOOOOOOO" Tyler cried sarcastically as he refused to move, she gave him puppy dog eyes. They were very convincing so he got up and began to dance with her probably making an idiot of himself but who cared...he wouldnt remember it in the morning.

As Seth approached Kyra casually walked away to get a drink which she didnt need infact her bladder was bursting but there was a queue for the toilets, she grimaced as she awkwardly swallowed a glass of punch. It couldnt be helped they had a lot to talk about and she didnt want to watch the fireworks.

Alex swayed as he stood up.
crap! He was in front of nearly all the school dressed as a belly dancer.
Quick think of something funny!

"Erm... Nice to see you like belly dancers Miss..." People looked up at him and he felt himself going red.

"Oh never mind," Maya said.
I'll tell him later right now i should probably be listening.
Maya nudged Saphira and started clapping Alex wildly, and cheering at the top of her voice.

Kyra choked on her drink as Alex made that comment and quickly brushed it off the front of her outfit before it stained and continued laughing.

Marine smiled as she danced with Tyler and when he spun he around her heart beat faster at his hand on hers.

Sophie cheered for Alex and there appeared to be an akward silence, he looked nervous.
"Ai ai ai" She mouthed to him, hoping he could break the silence with a little joke.

"This was a dumb idea." he said Before sitting down with a biscuit. Now he was sure to be picked on throughout the rest of his school life. People were still staring at him.

The Principal
Once again the principal opened up a little gold envelope.
"And the winner of the girls' costume contest is...." Her eyes widened at the card inside.
"It look's like we have a TIE!" She yelled with excitement, tension grew between the girls who had entered.
"The two winners of this costume contest are... Maya Winter and Kyra Mai! Come collect your prizes!" She grabbed two large chocolate bars and handed them to the girls, they had obviously kept spares.

Kyra was shocked to win, she smiled wildly as she yanked the short skirt on her dress further down her legs and approached her prize. She didnt make much of a speech but was thrilled to recieve the prize, she was happy that Maya had got joint first, she deserved it.

Tyler smiled as he read Marine's mind. She liked him. They stopped dancing and she was staring straight into his eyes. Marine became lost in the crowds of people, they didnt exist anymore and the only people in the room were her and Tyler. She leant towards him and their lips touched. Tyler was still seeing all the people in the room, unlike Marine. This was not what he wanted but it was too late, one mistake that could never be changed no matter how much he pretended it didnt happen. He leaned away and stared at her wondering what she meant by it.

Meanwhile a lower school boy stood gawping at the couple and scuttled out of the room, phone in his hand.

Kyra stepped out of the spot light and took a deep breath. She spotted her freinds and began to walk over to them but an annoying obstacle stepped infront of her.

Claire and Serra gawked at Tyler and Marine's little show. They turned to face away from them and started whispering.
"I thought Tyler went out with Kyra?" Serra asked confused.
"I'm not too sure, he had a big fight with Seth and went missing for a while. I don't know if they've ever been together..." Claire tried to solve it, looked like there was a mystery on their hands.

Sophie clapped for both Kyra and Maya, they both looked fabulous and they both deserved it. She hugged Alex, he deserved it too.
"Don't stress, it's a good idea. Nobody will know" She whispered some reassuring words to Alex and reached for a drink.

Danny clapped his hands, it was a shame Lexy hadn't won but their outfits were original.
"It's alright, Next year im sure." He was almost promising this to Lexy.

OOC: I'm going to time skip soon, once everyone has done the last of the party, im skipping.

The small boy jumped up and whispered something in Kyra's ear.
"WHAT!" she yelled as she felt her heart shatter into 100,000 pieces of glass and scatter.
Kyra...he never went out with you or said he loved you...GET OVER IT! she screamed in her head. The voice wouldn't go away. She didnt even know that he's come back to school but he was telling her something after all this was the second time he had kissed her. Maybe she just got in the way but she had to know. She held back the tears as she watched the video that the lower school boy had took and yanked a fiver out of her costume to give to the kid. She ignored the party and headed for the door.

Tyler smiled as Marine blushed.
"I...i'm sorry. I didnt want, i didnt mean to" she stuttered as she began to back away but he grabbed her hand to stop her forgetting what would happen.
Marine saw everything in the future, his marriage, the birth of his child and...his death. Tyler panicked, he needed her back fast. There was only one thing he could think of that woul;d bring her back so he kissed her again. Marine felt her normal vision return and then she felt Tyler's hand on her head. She didnt care who was watching she wasnt going to stop him.

Saphira sat in a chair sipping her drink. Josh was getting on her nerves now. He kept going off with the little kids. Or maybe they were dragging him... She wasn't sure.
Oh grow up! You're all like 10!

Carter wildly clapped when Mayas name was read out, Katia looked at her funny
''What?'' Carter asked ''I like her costume thats all'' Katia still had doubts, she was sure maya was a good person...But katia didn't like her.
Carter was detecting large amounts of envy in the room, she wasn't envious but the envy of other people was turning her hair green...but she didn't notice until she accidently bumped into Sophie
''Oops...sorry..'' Carter looked at sophie who was clutching her throat and shivering ''crap!''

"Crap! You can say crap again! CRAP! What the hell did you do?" asked Alex. Looking in part interest and part horror at the gagging Sophie.

Alexa pulled Danny to the dance floor.
"Might as well make complete idiots of our selves." she said with a grin.

Sophie was freezing. What the hell did she do to me?! Sophie thought, she started coughing and choking uncontrolably.
"It'll be alright... Erm, cough it up..." Alex tried to reassure.
"I think that cookie i ate is crawling back up!" Sophie was shivering, she thought she was going to collapse, she gagged more and felt something come out.
Oh god... Have i been sick? Sophie tried to look past the chunky eyeliner she was wearing and saw a green snake curled up on the floor.

Saphira saw the snake and scooted forwards before picking it up and talking to it. It didn't seem to be poisonous though...

"Do you want to go to matron?" asked Alex as if it was perfectly normal to spew snakes. When you are gifted things like this are perfectly normal.

A few lower school students stood with mouths wide open staring at Tyler and Marine. Nobody noticed the arrival of a girl at the door. Kyra couldn't believe what she was seeing. She bit her lip and swiftly turned around as she walked back to the party.
"It doesn't matter, it doesn't matter" she told herself quietly as she went to rejoin her freinds looking like she had just won the lottery. The smile was just not natural.

Tyler smiled at Marine as she dragged him to dance again ignoring the countless wide mouthed people staring. She shoved all thoughts about Kyra away as they danced, she would find other freinds.

''ohmygodohmygodohmygod i'm so so so sorry'' Carter said nearing tears
''cool'' said Katia picking up the snake
''hello'' Katia said in a baby voice tone to the snake
Carter glanced at Kat then back to sophie, she kept looking at her, her eye twitching

Lexy was tired from dancing and sunk into a chair. She hadn't had so much fun in ages and decided that having a party in her first week here was good enough for her. She saw people all around her dancing, eating and having a good time. A good opportunitie to meet new people! That is if she could leave her chair. Her feet ached in her purple shoes.

Saphira handed the snake over to Katia as she approaced. She attempted to try and tell her about the breed of the snake but she didn't appear to be listening. Maybe she couldn't hear her over the loud music that was thumping through peoples heads or maybe she was ignoring her. They didn't seem to get along at all and that was bad enough.

Saphira stood back and sighed. Josh had disapeared. They were supposed to be at the party TOGETHER. They hadn't danced or anything. She felt put out and collapsed into a chair next to a small girl who was rubbing her sore feet.
"You got sore feet too?" she asked with a weak smile.
"No... Not been dancing." Saphira replied with an equally pathetic attempt at a grin. This wasn't as fun as she had hoped it to be.

Josh crouched behind the life size mummie and peered around it for any more kids. It looked like he had lost them. He sighed with relief and leant against the heavily decorated wall.
"I think we lost them..." said the mummy and Josh nearly had a heart attack only to realise that the mummy was another student in a costume.
"Who are YOU hiding from?" asked Josh in interest.
"Mr. Agles. 'Accidently' knocked a pile of pumpkins onto him and made him spill black currant down his new suit." the mummy chuckled and froze suddenly as a small group of giggling girls walked past.

Alex pushed Sophie into a chair and handed her a glass of lemonade. She seemed cold so he put his arm around her and told her to drink.
"Doesn't Katia know where that snakes been?" asked Alex as he watched her rub it around her face. He pulled a look of disgust and drained his glass.

Katia loved snakes, something about them interested her, so she always wanted a pet one, so obviously holding one was one of the highlights of her life
Wierdly enough she saw something cute about snakes, every time the snake stuck its tounge out a small smile krept on her face

Carter stared at invidia (the snake) petrified
She was scared of snakes
Ironic isn't it, her power enables someone to spit up a snake and shes scared of them

Saphira spotted Carter looking terrified.
"You all right Carter?" she asked before handing her a glass of water. Maybe it would calm her down...
