Silverdale Boarding School For The Gifted DO NOT REPLY

Kyra stared at her hand wishing that what she had experienced was a dream but she knew in her heart that the ability to warp reality was not hers. She sighed and wondered where the others were but knowing that her powers were incontrolable. She acted as normal and climbed into the shower. The warm water made her forget about the inspectors and all her troubles for a magical short time. Then it happened.
She opened the door of the shower but it was too late.

The extreme energy and power came bursting through her body and hit the water. BANG she hit the floor trying to ignore the pain shooting through her body, the shower water was still running and making matters worse. She tried to lift her arm to turn it off but she was unable to move. Tears silently fell from her eyes looking like water from the shower as she lay there. she kept thinking "Am i going to die"

Eventually she grabbed the radiator and pulled herself up. Every muscle in her body tight and stinging. She limped over to the bed and fell on it allowing her soaking hair to wet her pillow as she tried to make the pain subside.

''What day will you be gone?'' Carter asked Katia
''thursday''
''Why?''
''I already told you...its personal''
''Well....Can i come with you?..''
''NO!!''
Carter stepped back in surprise
''But....''
Katia turned to Carter stopping her in midsentance, Katia had an annoyed 'Its my Life!' look on her face
''look I'm gonna get some dinner and head back to my room...you coming?'' Katia asked
After dinner the girls went back to their rooms, Carter went to bed while katia brought out an A5 piece of card and started drawing something on it.

Marine heard a large thud as she walked past room 101. First she knocked politely, then she knocked harder. She tried the handle but the door was locked but her tatoo was burning and that meant there was water near and she wasnt talking about the amound to fill a drinks bottle. She yanked on the handle desperatly.

Seth stood silently watching a girl try to open the door. "I think they are out" he said a with a smirk as he stepped in front of her.
"You have to move, there is someone in there. I heard a thud" demanded Marine as she grabbed the handle again. Seth's face became more serious and he walked through the wall and let her in.

He rushed over to Kyra and looked at her. She was pale and not moving. "Kyra?" he askede in a scared tone.
"Im ok" she replied trying not to move much.
"We have to get you to hospital, what happened?" he said
"SETH! i appreciate your concern but im fine, okay!" she repeated. He nodded and left.
While this was going on Marine glared at the water on the floor and as if time reversed it seeped back into the shower until the last drip was gone.

Maya sat bolt up right as she heard someone yell. She had heard a thud some time earlier and got worried at the sound of the yell.
Maya quickly got changed and headed to the room next door. Where Seth, Kyra and a new girl stood.

Jake wandered through the corridor heading to the cafeteria and ordered a hot drink to take outside as he was leaving he saw the headteacher looking more distressed than usually showing a few people around.
"Good morning miss," He said politely but she was in another world.

Emma rushed towards the door hoping to catch up with Maya before she left. The posters on the wall blew as she ran past.
I really hope there isn't an inspector around. Emma thought worriedly.

Alex peered around the art classroom door to see the art teacher with a big smile on her face pinning absurd messes of paint onto the wall.
"I... I... I heard you were a bit of a psychiatrist." he muttered as he felt his face burn red.
"Of course! Sit down!" she cried.

It was no long before they were talking.
"Ok. Picture this. You're in a classroom wearing a belly dancing outfit..."

"Im fine" Kyra said as she got up. She kept her face straight as she launched herself off the ned but inside she was screaming.Better get to class she said.

Marine tagged on behind as she was new. This was her first day. She secretky wondered what had happened. As the arrived Marine saw a few boys looking at her but most werent. This was a good thing as she didnt want people to like her for her looks. She wanted them to like the real her inside

Saphira got up and dressed quickly. She glanced at the clock then groaned. She wouldn't have enough time to finished her history of magic homework. At least Mr. Agles probably wouldn't notice anyway because of all the inspectors running around.

Maya followed the new girl down the corrdior.
I feel like a stalker!
"Hi i'm Maya," She said.
"Marine," The girl replied.

Jake sat on the bench outside drinking coffee he was still half asleep and he hoped the coffee would wake him up, the truth was he didn't really like coffee and felt sick with every sip.

Emma knocked on the door of room 102 and waited for an answer.

Tyler glared at the inspector. He was boring and bald. His suit was black and he looked ridiculous, sort of like a secret agent.

Kyra glanced through the glass of the door and saw her hair sticking up. It looked exactly liek it was. Electrocuted.

Seth stood behind the inspector who smelt of rotten cabbage, he held his nose as he soon discovered that hsi breath smelt the same.

Marine bit her lip anxiously. She had never been inspected before and was quite worried. What if she messed up?.

Knck Knock
''Kat you in there?''
Katia opened the door and there stood a pink and white Carter with platnum blond hair and glitteering green eyes,
''eerrrmmm....'' Katia stuttered looking at her
''What?'' she said, sounding like the snobby girl off a T.V show

Josh was sorting out his school bag for the day. Could he control his powers? He had no idea. He paced the room in frustration. He went over to the plant on the window sill before placing his hand on the soil. He slowly made the plant grown taller and healthier. As long as he stayed far away from plants and didn't want to make things grow. As for the other powers. Hiding them was a piece of cake.

Emma watched as the girl from her room came to the door knocked and got greeted by a girl in the room.
"Any of you two seen Maya," She said.

Maya continued to walk to the cafeteria she smiled at Seth and chatted to Marine.

Jake threw the rest of his coffee in the bin.
How can people drink this?

Class wouldn't be starting for a while yet but some people were voluneering to help with the school party. "Oh Marine...theres the cafeteria to go to" Kyra said as she gave her the directions. Marine stood confused. "Ill take her" Seth said as he led her away leaving Kyra and Tyler stood waiting.
"Hey" Seth said as Maya approiached them, "coming for something to eat?" he asked as she joined the line.

Sophie was in the cafeteria getting breakfast before classes started. She had history of ma... History, first.
Sophie mumbled something and left her bowl of cereal half eaten only to return to a little drama in her room.

Serra tried to get an early start before the tourists came. She put on her clothes and walked out the back of the guest house, down the pebbly shore and slowly walked into the water.
"Become one with the water. Smell it, feel it, hear it, see it, taste it. Sense it." A voice said in her head. Serra was walking closer to the middle and was almost completely covered in water.
"I will give myself to the god of water. I offer my self to the god of water. I will learn from the god of water." Serra whispered these phrases over and over again. She got louder as she got further towards the middle. Finally Serra became one with the water. She WAS water. Tourists started coming in, she was just on time.
Serra went to the most deserted part of the lake, where barely anyone could see her. She started making waves, ripples and even a small whirlpool.

Alexa shuffled in her sleep. The clock ticked. Not long before class and she would be late. Her eyes fluttered open and she crawled out from beneath the covers. She looked at the clock and swore loudly which would of been surprising to see from a passer by. She quickly grabbed her clothes and got dressed like a hurricane. She grabbed her hair brush and pulled it through the maze of tangled mess on her head. She was going to be late on her first day.

Claire was brushing her teeth when she answered the door, a girl was stood asking about Maya.
"Oh, I think she said she was going to the cafeteria, but i'm not sure." Claire's words were muffled by the toothbrush, but you could still understand what she was saying.

Maya watched Seth step into the cafeteria in front of her the barbie dolls walked in step with him about four metres behind her.
I guess the problem won't go away that easily. Maya thought. Those barbie dolls are not bringing down my mood every day i will ignore them from now on!

Jake walked around the school grounds dodging the water fountain in case Maya was waiting to get him back.

Saphira sat on her bed playing with a lizard she had summoned. It twisted through her fingers delicately.
"Hey Sophie. You meeting up with Alex at lunch?" she asked knowing the answer already.

Alexa shoved her pencil case into her bag and fell over her own feet. Tears stung her eyes yet she wiped them away. She crawled to the bathroom as quickly as possible before squirting a ridiculous amount of toothpaste onto her brush and shoving it into her mouth as she scrubbed vigorously.

Sophie grabbed her little bag and shoved some fake books in it. Class was about to start.
"Why do the inspectors have to come right before the party?! Can't they come next week, like after the party?" Sophie was talking to Kyra.

Serra was flowing with the water. The sounds were so soothing. The weeds at the bottom of the lake brushed against her back. Even though she WAS water, she could still feel things. She relaxed. Nobody would know she was here.

The bell rang loudly through the newly postered corridors as people slowly and grimly walked towards class and sat down. Kyra and Sophie walked together among the many other students. Almost everyone was quiet as Mr Agles told them to be seated. Kyra glanced nervously around the room at everyone checking to see where the inspector was.

Marine reamined standing while the rest of the class sat down. "Er...im new" she said and Mr Agles directed her to a seat as he began to introduce the fascinating history of brocolli to the class.

''Kat..Explain something to me, What will the inspecters think when they see your hair and eyes?''
''Well they'll probebly think that i've dyed my hair or that i have albinism''
''And your eyes?''
''I don't know''
''Well follow me''
Katia followed Carter back to carters room, Carter then rummaged around in the cabinate above the sink in the bathroom an pulled out a box and handed it to Katia
''Green contacts...'' Katia said
''Yup, you can lightly see outlines of circles in your eyes so they should work'' Carter said, then explaining to Katia how to put them in
Katia looked in the mirror, if she dyed her hair she would look normal and she thought about it while looking at her eyes in the mirror
Then suddenly the bell for history of magic or 'history' rang
''Damn, looks like i don't have time to dye your hair brown''
They walked to class and sat down, someone came over to carter to say that she was sitting in their seat, she just threw them an evil glare and they backed off, Katia looked around, some people were throwing odd glances at her, obviously amazed that she actually hid her eyes to make sure the school doesn't get closed.

"Brocolli is a member of the vegetable family. It is green and tree shaped," The teacher tried to sound interested in what he was saying. The class groaned.
"Right who can name the founder of brocolli?" The teacher asked.
Maya turned on her ipod and nodded her head to the music and the teacher took it the wrong way.
"You know the answer Maya?"
Emma looked through a text book and quickly whispered the answer to Maya who repeated it to the teacher.

Why? Why? Why? stupid stupid inspectors can't they poke their noses in some other school? Jake cursed in his head.

Sophie was shocked at Maya answering the question correctly. At first she thought it was a little sad someone knew the answer to that, until she realised Emma gave her the answer from a textbook.
"Miss Angel, are you still with us?"
"Wha?" Sophie snapped out of her daydream and realised the inspectors were staring at her.
Oh no... I hope i didn't do something i wasn't supposed to... Sophie worried she'd lost control of her powers.

There was a diagram of broccoli on the board and Mr Agles was pointing at it with a long stick while Kyra was listenign to her ipod through her long sleeved shirt.

Tyler yawned. This class was very boring and useless but he knew he had to sit through it.

Seth was satring at Maya in a sort of trance completly distracted from the lesson. "Mr Cigam what is the answer" called Mr Agles forcign him out of the daydream "ER...what was the question?"
"The dutch name for broccoli?" Mr Agles repeated.
"I dotn know sir" he replied in shame as Mr Agles began to tell the class the answer.

Marine needed water. "Sir can i have a drink please?" she asked, her voice becoming dry. "I know that You are new but you must learn the rules, there are no drinks in my class miss" he replied as he caried on. Her head banged against the desk. This lesson was so boring that she was losing the will to live.

Maya did what she had done in the assembly (had her ipod in one ear and not the other) so she wouldn't lose her concentration again.
They were all writing brocolli fact sheets and the inspectors were asking them about the school.
"So what are you doing in drama at the moment?" Asked an old inspector with a kind face.Maya froze she wished the ground couldswallow her up.
"Erm..." Maya struggled.
"Me and Maya are acting as runaways," Emma saved Maya.
"I shall look forward to seeing that,"
As the inspector walked away Maya gave Emma a look as if to say, now what are we going to do?.
