Silverdale Boarding School For The Gifted DO NOT REPLY

Alexa shoved her toothpaste onto the edge of the sink before grabbing her bag and sprinting down the corridor to english. The class were just filing in as she arrived so she just joined the end of the line and went into the classroom. At the back sat a tall man wearing classes with messy hair. It looked like he had attempted to keep it tidy but failed.
"Excuse me. I'm new." she said politely to the teacher.

Alex drew on the corner of his book. The lessons were even more boring then before. Josh prodded him from the next row and pointed at the pictures he had drawn. Alex scribbled them out with a look of horror on his face. Broccoli. Broccoli. Broccoli. It was seeping into his brain.

Saphira sat up straight and listened to Mr. Agles go on and on an on. This was FAR more fascinating then the history of magic.
"Any questions?" he asked. Saphira was the only one who put up her hand. She blushed as a few other classmates glared at her.
"Sir! Can you tell us the life cycle of broccoli?" she asked and a groan traveled through the class.

Carter was filing her nails with the nail file she was carrying around in her handbag and Katia was Drawing an evil dark misty forest thats come alive and drawing a little girl walking into it in a trance (in the back of her book)
And then carter started prodding her with her nail file
''Hey Kat'' she whispered
''What?''
''Do you have a mirror?''
''no'' katia began drawing again only to be disturbed by Carter prodding her again
''Hey Kat''
''What now?!''
''I hate broccoli..''
Katia sighed and started drawing again
An inspecter came up to her
''so..what are you doing in drama?'' he asked
''Anger managment'' Katia said giving an evil smirk at the inspecter
''and you?'' he said turning to Carter
''I havn't had a drama class yet as i only arrived halfway through friday''
Then the inspecter moved on
Katia was now shading her artwork, once again feeling the prodding in her arm
''Hey kat''
Katia sighed
'This is going to be a loooooong lesson'

Kyra smiled gratefully as the bell rang loudly. She carelessly sjoved her folder into her bag and left the room. Next was 'drama'. This would be more fun than the history of broccoli.

Seth walked behind Maya hoping that she would notice him. Tyler walked up behind him "You that desperate that you have to stalk the girl?" he asked before running off and catching up with Kyra who shoved him lightly after hearing his comment.

Marine trailed behind the class gladly pouring the whole bottle of water that she had down her throat. She could hear the voice again but wasnt sure if it was good or bad. Sometimes it was calming and reassuring, sometimes annoting and sometimes just creepy. Marine... it called repetadly in her head. Maybe she was crazy.

"Hi Seth you know it is possible to talk to me instead of follow me," Maya said cheerfully.

Jake shuffled along the corridor he wanted to be late, he hated drama, he probably hated it more than the history of brocolli.

Emma shuffled out of the classroom because she had stayed behind to ask the teacher if it was possible to go to the sick bay she had to put an act on for the inspectors.
I like drama but i don't want to force Maya into having to perform infront of the inspector she hates doing that sort of thing she's too shy. Thought Emma.

"Oh er hi Maya" Seth babbled turning tomato red with embaressment. He caught up with her and walked next to her on the way to 'drama'.

Kyra waited patiently for the rest of the class to arive anxiously. "Shut up" cryed Marine loudly as she shook her head trying to make the voice stop. Severeal people gave her funny looks, this was no way to make freinds.

Saphira stood in the line ready to go in to 'drama'. They filed in to see that Mrs. Talons had done the hard task of stacking all the desks are chairs around the edges of the classroom in order to give everybody room to act.
"Ok. Today we are acting like we have magical powers. I want you to split up into pairs and act out a duel between good and bad."

Everybody could tell she had picked this topic because it would be easy for them to do but a few worried that they might use their real powers by mistake. The inspector nodded as the teacher spoke.

Alexa lined up outside what they called drama. She knew about the inspections and closed her eyes in frustration. What a week to join the school. She hadn't made any friends so far and she scanned the line to see if there was anybody friendly.
"Hi." She said to the boy stood next to her.

Right so who will go with me? Maya thought.
"Erm... anyone want to be partners with me." Asked Maya.

Jake looked around trying to find a partner students were poiting to eachother and mouthing that they wanted to be partners.

Emma stared at some of the posters in the sick bay. She was reading an interesting one about allergies.

Josh and Saphira stood together arguing over who was the good guy in a jokingly way. Alex watched them and wished he had a partner. He looked among the other students who were all waving their arms around and making weird whooshing sounds. This was actually kind of fun.

"Hi, I guess you're new right? I'm Danny." Danny tried to help the girl feel welcome.
The line eventually started moving into the classroom. Due to the fact there weren't many lower schools, they joined up the 'Drama' class.
Danny looked around for a partner.
"Hey Alexa, do you want to be partners...?"

Sophie almost immediatly partnered up with Alex. Claire hesitated a little, since Serra wasn't here.
"Hey Maya, do you want to be partners?"

Marine nervously as she began the first task. How on earth a human could look like a tree swaying in the breeze she didnt know so she casually threw her arms about above her head.

Kyra was refusing to participate int he group activity and excercising her refusal skills slouched on a table talking to Tyler who wasa taling to her patiuently.

Seth walked up to Mata "Hey..you wanna work together?" he asked politely

Marine gave up and went to meet a girl who was sat on a table with a boy talking to her. On the way she made a fool of herself and slipped right over skiddign across the polished floor. The boy raised an eyebrow and grabbed her hand to help her up. She sat still on the floor her eye's widening as she stared at him as if she was on another planet. "You okay?" he asked at the girl who was frozen on the floor. "Yeah" she replied as she semmed to snap out of the trance and got up. She dusted herself off and smiled kindly at the boy.

"Yeah, sure," Maya smiled at Claire a second later Seth asked if she wanted to be his partner," Sorry but i already said i'd be with Claire like a second ago but i think Jake needs a partner."
Both Serra and Emma are missing. And i hope i didn't hurt Seth's feelings.

Jake stared as he watched people walk into the classrrom in pairs.
It's like primary school all over again everyone having one particular friend who they are always partners with. Thought Jake.
Seth mumbled at Jake asking if he wanted to be partners with him Jake mumbled yes back.

Meanwhile Emma had moved onto a poster about diabetes.

"No. No. No. No. No! I have to be the good guy. I'm innocent like that!" cried Saphira for the fifth time. Josh snorted and she glared at him. The argument was becoming more and more serious by the moment.

"Guess I'm partners with you then..." muttered Alex to Sophie would was stood grinning beside him. "You want to be the good person?" he asked because he didn't care which one he was. Both would be fun.

Alexa smiled.
"Sure. I'll be your partner." replied Alexa "I'm Alexa but everybody just calls me Lexy." she said and they both walked over to a free space to discuss the activity set to them.

Katia just stood still when miss announced the theme.
And soon enough Carter came over to her , grabbed her arm and said
''Your my partner''
''Works for me'' katia said shrugging
they grabbed a spot by the window and started talking about what they should do.
Katia threw some odd glances at marine who had screamed ealier,
'I guess im not the only one with a screaming mind' Katia thought looking back at Carter who had once again gotton out her nail file

"I think the power I'm going to have is... erm... I can cast lightening?" mumbled Lexy who felt stupid in front of Danny.

At last Josh had given in and Saphira was the good guy but boy was she crabby.
"No! You can't shoot water because I'm FIRE and I have to win." Saphira stopped her foot and sniffed. It was extremely unSaphiraish.

"Sounds great! So, erm, you wanna' be the good or bad guy? I don't really mind." Danny asked.

"I don't mind, it's up to you." Sophie smiled and batted her eyelashes at Alex.

Serra sighed and flowed with the water, she created a strong current to let out all of her anger.

The inspector walked over to the group of 3. "Can you please participte in the lesson like the rest of your class" she asked. Silently they all got up and walked to the back of the room where they began to act. Kyra stood not acting and refusing to move. "You gotta act" Tyler said "I cant..." she replied looking miserable. How could she explain to him that her powers were so mesed up that she could cause the whole school to go into chaos accidently. She couldnt carry that weight on her shoulders and stood too scared to move.

"Nothing will happen trust me" Tyler reassured her. Her mouth dropped, he had read her mind again "I told you not to do that!" she whispered harshly as she began to move, luckily her powers remained tame and controlled.

"Well I don't mind. Lightening would be able to defeat water I suppose..." Lexy smiled shyly. She wasn't used to new people.

"Er..." Alex stood staring at Sophie. He wasn't used to this. It seemed ever since he asked her to the dance she was even clingyier then usual. He didn't mind but he was useless in situations like these.
"Well I'll be bad and I can erm... Control wind?" He felt stupid for saying 'wind' instantly.

I want to be the bad one really but i suppose i don't mind so much if i'm the good guy. Hmm maybe we could both be power hungry villains. No sir said good guy and bad guy. Thought Maya.
"So which one do you want to be i really don't mind," Said Maya to Claire.

"So what do you want to be good or bad?" Asked jake.

I'm so bored! Thought Emma as she moved onto a poster about keeping fit.

"I'll be... bad i guess. Ok, so i can control erm... Something bad!" Claire joked.

"Ok, then i guess i can control...Fire. Simple enough!" Sophie rubbed her hands together. It seemed Alex was having a bad day, or he was just nervous.
"It'll be alright. Just go with the flow. It's not like we're being marked on this." Sophie smiled as if to say 'Cheer up! Everything will be ok!'

"Ok, so i'll control water. Lets just improvise. I'm not that good at acting so please excuse any stupid things i may do." Danny joked and started messing around.

people were thinking hard, Katia started hearing more noise then she was used to in class, it didn't help that people were shouting at eachother outloud and in their heads.
Katia leaned against the wall and gripped her head
''Kat? you ok?'' Carter asked looking at her
''i'm fine said Kat with a stutter in her voice
''Kat...''
''I'M FINE!'' Katia started hyperventilating
''should i get miss?''
''Get stuffed, all she'll do is send me to the sick bay''
Carter kept looking at her worrying.

Seth was working with Jake and they were getting along well with a dramatic sequence.

Marine, Tyler and Kyra were working on a tragic story with a lot fo death involved. "Maybe this is too...depressing" hinted Kyra but there was not much time to change it now. "Oh well they'll just have to cry" Tyler answerd. He was obviously quite proud of his work.

Maya's face lit up.
"I have an idea i can be light and you can be dark and we could make it a comedy like you know at pantomimes where everything goes wrong that sort of thing and we can make them fight about... erm... the sun turning on and off or something like that, what do you think?" Maya said it all without taking a breath and inhaled deeply at the end of it all.

Emma moved on to the five-a-day poster.

"BANG! And the Danny is fried!" cried Lexy putting on her best Cilic SMASH, Larry Blott accent. She was enjoying herself and Danny's coolness rubbed off onto her. She relaxed and enjoyed herself.

"Right... You can erm... Burn me to a painful death then..?" muttered Alex who didn't have a clue.

Sophie laughed.
"No silly, we can fight for a bit and the wind can, i don't know, get rid of the fire!" Sophie suggested, hoping Alex would lighten up a bit.

"Nooooo!" Danny pretended to melt to the ground before jumping back up.
"Bwaha! You thought you could kill me with puny lightning strikes! Take this!" Danny pretended to shoot a water ball at Alexa and laughed manicly.

Alexa giggled and 'formed' a ball of electricity in her hands before pretending to toss it at Danny who was in mid evil laughter.

"Well one of us is supposed to die. Best if you burn me to death or something." Alex knew Sophie was trying to cheer him up but ever since last month he just wasn't in the mood.
